Sign Pro brought Target's new look to its Meriden, CT store, removing the old red signage, installing the rebranded white signs, and updating two pylon signs, starting at 4 AM so the new sign was up before the store opened at 8.

About This Project

Target's Meriden store at 474 Chamberlain Highway was part of the retailer's move from its classic red signage to a new white look. Working for Pride Signs, Sign Pro handled the full installation on site.


Over four install days, Sign Pro's crews removed the old red signs, installed the rebranded white storefront signage, updated two freestanding pylon signs, and installed the CVS Pharmacy sign on the same building. For the storefront sign, the crew arrived at 4 AM so the new sign was up and finished before the store opened at 8 AM.

Crews coned off one entrance at a time and worked with the general contractor to close doors safely.

Safe Removal

The old red signs were taken off their clips, power was capped, and the signs were disposed of.

Sign Pro worked directly with Chimenti, the general contractor, on access and power.

Step 2

4 AM Start

The crew arrived at 4 AM and had the new sign installed before the 8 AM opening, working from a Sign Pro bucket truck and lift.
